Are your ready for summer?
I am and my summer wardrobe is well on it's way with this jumpsuit from Halfmoon Atelier.
I had the privilege of creating a sew along for this pattern which is live on her blog and you can find it here.
There is also a 20% off discount now through June 27th using code SEWTOFO. You can find the pattern here.
This is the first time I made a jumpsuit and I am going out of my comfort zone with this piece but I must admit, it's super comfortable to wear.
The jumpsuit features side pockets, pleated front, elastic waist, belt with loops and can be worn with or without the shoulder straps.
I chose this bright yellow polkadot fabric that I bought in Montreal last summer. It has a slight stretch to it but not much so I do not consider it a knit. I don’t really pay attention to types of fabrics (although I should) but I knew this would work perfectly. I also made it in a red/orange linen blend fabric end that I got through my workplace.
I made size 10 and the only adjustments I made was to add length to the crotch depth. The pattern comes in sizes 1-10
I hope I've inspired you to try this pattern and along with the sew along create a cute addition to your summer wardrobe.
Till next time, be original, show off your style
